What, My Tires are Gone?!?

Yes ladies and gentlemen, this was the sight that we woke up to on Sunday morning. Some very not nice people decided that they deserved my tires more than I did and took it upon themselves to remove them from my car. Can you believe that???!!! I am still at a loss for words. Fortunately for those evil people, I have some very good friends that assisted me in getting my car back to it's original state (on a Sunday no less)for which I will forever be grateful for. It's nice and comforting to know that there are still good and kind people in this world because when something like this happens to you you can't help but think the opposite.

So to the mean, mean, awful people who took my tires, I only have one thing to say...."May the bird of happiness fly up your nose and build a nest!!!!"

And we're off..............

Wow. It seems as though Christmas came and went. Tim was off for 2weeks (which he reminds me he will never do again) and the girls enjoyed all the time they got to spend with him. Emerson has enjoyed playing with her new kitchen and lets us try all the goodies that she makes. Addison is finally sitting up on her own and we are anxiously awaitng the tooth that makes here cry all day long.

With the close of the year, Tim and I were able to celebrate our 3rd anniversary ( i was just proud that I made it to midnight!!!) It has been a fast and very eventful 3 years but the ride has been great. We look forward to many more crazy years together.

2008 was a great year. We welcomed Addison Riley into our family, celebrated Emerson's first birthday, my 30th birthday, found out Nola and Nick are going to be parents, celebrated David's 18th birthday, celebrated my parents 35 anniversry and celebrated our 3rd anniversary. God has truly blessed our family and I can't wait to see what he has in store for us.

So as we begin the new year remember this.........

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away

It's Snowing!!!!

What a beautiful sight. We were so excited to see snow today. Tim didn't understand what all the fuss was about so I reminded him that he grew up with snow every winter growing up and he quickly remembered his excitement. Emerson loved it. I only wish Addison was old enough and awake to share in our excitement.

Happy Birthday David!!

Today is my brother David's 18th birthday and I can't help but get a little sentimental when I think about that. It's almost like it was yesterday when my parents brought him home from the hospital. We were so excited to have a baby in the house that we spoiled him rotten. And while he was a bit mischievous (David remember when you took your bat and broke the head off of Mom's black goose?) he has grown up to be a great young man who my girls just adore.

Happy Birthday David!!!

It's been a whirlwind

Wow! It has been a crazy 5months. Here is the quick verson.... Welcomed my new baby girl Addison Riley in July, were refugees in College Station for 21/2 weeks during Ike, became a full time Mom in October and have been running ever since. And we don't seem to be slowing down. Emerson is growing like a weed and keeping me very busy. Here are a few pics of my angels!!

Grandma's Visit by Emerson Griswold

Last week Grandma came to visit me, Mom and Dad. We had a great time. We played and laughed and mom and dad took us to this beautiful park that had all these wonderful statues and flowers. I hope grandma gets to come back soon.
